Drivers Licenses and Age Qualifications


All renters must be aged 21-75 years for standard vehicles at the commencement of the rental. For any driver be they the renter or an additional driver, aged 21 to 24 inclusive, an age surcharge of $22 per day applies. No surcharges apply to additional drivers aged 25 years and more.


Thrifty recognises all current non-provisional and non-probationary Australian drivers licenses and current overseas licenses. The driver’s licence must be in English language with a photo and produced at the start of the rental. If a renter’s licence is not in English or not have a photo, an International Driving Permit will be required.


刚在Vroom上租车，Gold Coast，上边的条款好像必须是驾照上要有英文或者要国际驾照，不知道有没有以前在那租过车的朋友，麻烦指点迷津啊，不行我准备去换个新版驾照，带英文的，谢谢！
