关于interrail在居住国的使用问题

我拿的是法国的居留，但是根据interrail的使用规则这个通票在法国境内不能用，但是我还有几天在法国的行程。
我看SNCF订票的打折项里还有Global Pass这一项，想请问下在通票还没生效的时候，可以用它来买打折票么？

Interrail的这个解释我彻底糊涂了。。。关于discounted benefits: Take advantage of these benefits any time, even if you've used up all of your travel days. Just makes sure the journey takes place during the validity of your pass.
