在cotswold和牛津要乘坐很多公车，请问都是上车向司机直接买票吗？车里有报站字幕吗，司机会每站都停，还是需要提前和司机打招呼呢？

you need to know the destination stop you want
or, ask the drive to stop at your preferred stop
but he may forget your request after driving for a while
so, be better to sit/stand near the driver.
