美国租车网站预订时一定要用主驾驶员本人的信

在carrentle网站租车，按程序输入了，订单也生成了。后来想到这个问题，就邮件问到客服。对方邮件内容是这样的：
Thank you for your email. The main driver of the vehicle must hold a credit card in there name to secure the Booking.
请在网站预定过的朋友解答一下，我这个订单不是用驾驶员本人的信用卡支付的，会不会在提车时遇到什么麻烦呢？还是只要在现场时需要驾驶员用他的信用卡来授权押金呢？

不一定要美元结算的卡。但是人民币结算的visa卡会让你在汇率上有所损失，有时候可能也会蛮厉害的，美元结算的卡你只要在还款时自己买美元还就行了。
基本上所有的租车行都要求主驾驶员用本人信用卡授权押金的。第二封信是说你可以改主驾驶的信息，比如说有美元信用卡的人。

一般预定的时候无所谓，现场取与授权的时候一定要驾驶员本人信用卡。会合对姓名。主要是需要租车人信用担保避免车发生问题，比如开走不还什么的。而且一定要信用卡，借记卡是不行的。
