Between 1 November and 30 April, the road is closed for private cars, and you must join the daily bus from Honningsvåg. It is recommendable to buy the ticket one day in advance.

From 19th of August to 23rd of December Boreal Transport have one
round trip each day from the Tourist Information in the center of
Honningsvåg.
Departure Honningsvåg at 12 p.m. Return from North Cape at 14 p.m.
The round trip includes entry to the North Cape Plateu.
