IST预定酒店时遇上的问题

We just keep it as a deposit, We do not actually cash it. Cancellations can be made up to 3 days ahead of arrival otherwise one night will be billed to the card.
这个是酒店给我的邮件回复，他要求我提供我的信用卡的卡号，他说如果我需要取消要提前三天，如果前一天取消就会刷我的卡支付？是这个意思吗？
可是我只提供卡号他们也可以刷卡吗？这段话有些理解不能...
如果真的只需要卡号和到期日期就可以刷卡那么不是很危险？随时有信息泄露被盗卡的可能？
