请教租车保险的问题

以下是租车公司的条款,我英语不好,只能看懂十分之一.有关保险的问题我在游四海旅游网上看了很多贴子,还是不太明白.请教一下保险部分!除了这家租车公司提供的保险我是否还需要再上一些其它保险吗(承担的风险越低越好)?比如之前网友介绍的Refundable Excess Insurance(excess reimbursement insurance).谢谢朋友们了!

At this destination our local car rental partner might ask you to leave a deposit of the value of the theft excess or insurance excess damage, which may be charged to you if the car is damaged/stolen during the rental.


EconomyCarRentals.com will fully refund such costs!!!


In order to do so we need you to strictly follow the instructions below in case of an accident, damage or theft :


You have to inform immediately our local car rental partner.

You have to contact the police and take a written report, even for the smallest damage made. When you pick up your rented car, please ask for details.

When you return the car to the rental station, you also have to make a theft or damage report with our local car rental partner.


To get back the excess, you have to send the following documents to EconomyCarRentals.com by post:

Theft or damage report and police report.

Copy of the rental contract.

Receipts of payment, to prove what you have paid.

Your credit card statement where we can see the amount that was charged to your credit card.


EconomyCarRentals.com will not refund the excess, should any of the above documents be missing or the General and Local terms and conditions of our website and the car rental agreement not be followed.

Please also check the "Exceptions to an all inclusive insurance" section in the Local Terms and Conditions.


The conditions on the car rental agreement are legally binding to the hirer.
