求个签证问题啊，天朝护照香港驻美签证

之前我在澳门读书超过1年，按规定可以去美国驻港大使馆签证F1，所以很顺利拿到签证（提前一天预约，当天可交签证费，基本没有被拒的案例）

现在父母打算来US，我打算带他们去HK签证，因为我签证时候看到也有人去签证，不知道是否会被拒绝，会被要求回所在片区的大使馆签证？我就问了一下大使馆，给我这个回复，表面上好像说只要符合他们的要求就可以了，是嘛？

We strongly encourage visa applicants to apply at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate with jurisdiction over the place of their permanent residence or the place they legally reside, work or study. Although visa applicants may apply at any U.S. consular office abroad, it may be more difficult to qualify for the visa outside the place of their permanent residence. Visa applicants must follow the visa application procedures of the U.S. Embassy/Consulate in the country where they apply for the visa.
