求助：是我英语的误解，还是被无端划款了

各位经验丰富的前辈们，我最近正在申请到英国旅游的签证，看了一些帖子，学了其中一位用Venere.com来订旅馆。

然而，除了些问题。

我订了一个旅店，它的cancellation policy上写着

“Bookings secured against a non refundable deposit . We reserve the

right to re-let your room if we do not receive your deposit, or you fail to

arrive for your first nights stay without prior notification or if, without prior

notification, you do not arrive during an agreed check in time.

If you cancel or curtail any part of your stay within 1 week of arrival we

may charge up to the full value you of your visit.”

但是现在它charge了我一天的旅馆费用并说这是"non-refundable deposit"。

我不知道是我误会了第一句话（我以为第一句的意思是预定不需要非返还押金），还是旅馆没有按照它的承诺阿。
