Help! how to pay by credit card in Penang??

Folks.. I tried to use CMB credit card in shopping center in Georgetown, but the pos machine can't proceed it coz my card doesn't have a chip on it!!
Anyone knows the situation? And any solution??

did you ever contact the bank? you'd better choose another way to pay. It's seems like not safe to use credit card in M.

英语不好，不过东南亚不要用信用卡比较好
用刷的也行啊，我是diner club的卡，沒晶片也行。
