关于英国租车问题

给Enterprise写信问租车的事，对方回复如下：


Thank you for your e-mail. In answer to all your questions are below:-

1 way charge to London is £75.00+ Tax

An additional driver is £10/day

Your chinese driving licence is fine with translation, along with your passport/ i.d card and credit card in the drivers name.

The car cost does include Enterprise Damage Waiver Coverage with a Standard £600 excess which can be reduced to £100 for £10 extra per day. This £100 excess would be your responsibility if anything were to happen to the vehicle but this is the maximum insurance that Enterprise can offer. If you get a crack on the windscreen or a punctured tyre unfortunately this would still be the customers responsibility however if you take the extra £10 insurance you would only have to pay £100 towards the damage instead of the £600 standard excess.

Enterprise Insurance does have 3rd party liability coverage so you do not need to worry about that. The charge of your rental for 7 days with the full insurance would be £184.13 + £75 + Vat if you wish to drop the car in London.

1. 就是说，我买了附加险以后，不管多大的问题，我只需要付100磅(不到100磅，按实际支出)，其他的就不用我管了？

2. 第三方责任险，他也没说个标准，那要是我出了大事故也不用为对方担责任？

3. 这个价格是Vauxhall Astra, Ford Focus or similar的报价。这类车和GOLF比咋样？其实我比较感兴趣Vauxhall Insignia的，英国车？差别大么？我们2-3个人。

Thank you for your letter. I still have some queries below, which cannot be finished online.

Basic information: The rental is planned to pick up the car (Class F) from Edinburgh on 22nd June and return the car in London on 29th. The price showed on your website is total £165.9 including VAT.

1. How much is one-way fee per day, for picking up from Edinburgh and returning to London?

2. How much is an additional driver fee per day?

3. I am Chinese driver with more than ten years driving experience. I have a Chinese driver license, on which an English translation is presented as well. Does it work for the rental? Or another formal translation version is required?

4. Does the above price include the damage waiver?

5. What's the price of Excess Protection (EP) or Partial Waiver (PW) per day? Is it right that even I bought EP and PW, I need to pay £100 if the accident damage exceeds £600? If so, how much I need to pay for my rental?

6. Does the damage in DW and EP and PW include car's disability by itself? such as a tire burst.

7. In regard to Third Party Liability, is there an economic liability I should take? and what others liability?

8. Is there any other optional insurance?

9. What's total price if I want to not take any liability for any damage?
