我本人在英国，是学生签证，不到6个月，请问我老婆要来是旅游还是探亲？很多人说我不能发邀请函。
如果是旅游，里面有问配偶是否现在住在一起？如果说不是，后面的选项就是英国公民了。如果选在一起，后面填老婆在英国是否有直系亲属，要选是，有矛盾了？

She can do family visitor visa. it's for anyone visiting anyone legally residing in the country, including British citizen, permenant resident, work permit holder and student.
Usual tourist visa can be done as well, but just don't answer she's got family here on the form.
Those two types are the same in terms of validation and length of stay. Only one difference that if the family visitor visa got refused, she can appeal. usual tourist visa doesn't have this feature. However, i hope everything goes well with you and no need for appeal at all.

One thing I feel confused is:
whether the remaining validity of your student visa is less than 6 months (say you have been here for 36 months and the visa validity is 40 months), or the overall length of your student visa is less than 6months (say you come here for a very short course last 3 months only)?
if the former, the GBLion should be correct. But if the later, oh dear, you really cannot send invitations.

如果是旅游签证，又不写有亲属在，是不是会查出来？或欺骗？
