"This exterior mural was painted by me in 1989 is 25 ft. high by 50 ft. wide. I am getting ready to celebrate with a one man show at the Taos chamber of commerce from Jully 20th through the end of August. The TCC is inside the host building. This mural pays tribute to a page of art history that is about the makers of sculpture that represents the saints of the Catholic faith of Taos. The Santero, as they are called, that I have depicted here, is carving the family unit, and a positive individual and a single parent with the weight of the architecture weighing on her/him are in front of him. I did not paint specific saints so as not to offend non catholics. Behind the wall is the landscape as it would appear without the building looking east. The hollywood flowers you see are fourteen feet tall. I have lifted the building off the ground with the use of the three lines to utilize the tower. He sits carving on a flagstone patio. This mural has been published in encyclopedia, National Geographic and skiing magazine and many others bringing to Taos International attention and notoriety through these publications. If you are coming to Taos please visit and read the plaque on the wall. It is located in the heart of Taos."
