A travel day normally lasts from midnight to midnight. Is your first trip of the day a direct overnight train departing after 19.00 hours? Then you can fill in the next day's date on the calendar of your InterRail Pass. This is known as the '7 pm rule'. Please note: travel cannot begin before 00h01 on the first day of the overall validity period of the Pass. If your first travel day is for example Wednesday 6 August, you cannot use the '7 pm rule' on Tuesday the 5th yet.

If you use an overnight ferry covered by the InterRail Pass, you may enter either the date of departure or arrival.问个瑞典INTERRAIL卡的事情,如果遇到火车过夜行使的情况,算一天还是两天?我看了下他们的说明,大概是说譬如1号晚上7点以后搭乘一个需要彻夜第二天到达的交通工具,按照<<晚上7点规矩>>,那么INTERRAIL卡从2号算起,也就是说当天卡可以用到2号的晚上12点.请问是这样吗?可是我们想坐下午6班开的夜火车..能按照这个规矩来嘛..需要一个非常准确的答案,谢谢大家.
