Most people will choose Stanford, since its campus is big, better and buildings are more magnificent.
Berekley campus is not big, since it is the first UC campus and there was not many students then. If you are interested in the history of Civil Rights movement dated back to 1960's, you might want to visit here also.
If you want only sightseeing, you can only to go Stanford. Don't forget to visit museum, drive by linear accelerator ( 1mile long) besides going on to the top the tower

Stanford的校园很漂亮，氛围很好，但比较远，从SF去要转车，来回需要至少半天时间。
UC Berkeley建在半山上，可以远眺SF，坐BART可以直达。

2011年10月我在旧金山住了40天，二个名校都去过了，都非常值得一去，而且交通业方便，特别是伯克利分校，交通特别便利
Stanford is better. 顺路去San Jose硅谷去看看. 挺好的. UC Berkeley在黑人区.
