I am going to bring some Chinese food and skin-care lotion when crossing the border of EC, is it ok or not? Any specific custom restrictions? anybody knows ?

It depends on from which country you drive in. But normally there's no strict luggage control in the train. So if I were you, I'll take with whatever I want.
