美国转机去第3国的问题

持有美签, 需要飞美国转机去南美, 请问只有2个多小时的转机时间够吗?
听说即使转机(不入境)也要先取了托运行李进海关检查, 那么是走TRANSFER的专用通道呢? 还是真的要办理出境后再入境?

If your arrival flight is on time then 2 hours should be OK. But sometimes it takes very long time to pass immigration at the airport.

Only B1/B2 or C1 visa holders with valid entries can transit the United States en route to another country. I believe you have to pass the immigration and enter US anyway. There is no check point for leaving US. You just turn in you I-94 to the airlines.
