我自己的去埃及的计划，希望去过的朋友多多指

我打算自助游埃及，虽然还在找驴友，但是计划先造好，请去过的驴友们指点，多提意见。

My detail Program Itinerary is as following:

Day 1 (25/02/2006) Arrival at Cairo

Airport Transfer to hotel


Day 2 (26/02/2006) Cairo

A day of sightseeing in Cairo

- The great Pyramids of Giza going inside Kufu

- The Sphinx and Valley Temple

- Evening Nile Dinner Cruise.


Day 3 (27/02/2006) Cairo/Luxor

A 2nd day of sightseeing in Cairo

- Egyptian Museum with the treasures of Tutankhamen.

- Islamic Cairo - the Citadel, Alabaster and Sultan Hassan Mosques and Palace

- The Khan El Khalili Bazaar

- Coptic Cairo - see some of the oldest churches in Christianity

- Depart for Luxor by overnight sleeper train


Day 4 (28/02/2006) Luxor

Sightseeing in Luxor

- Valley of the Kings (3 tombs)

- Temple of Queen Hatshipsuit, the Queen who would be King

- The Colossi of Memnon


Day 5 (01/03/2006) Luxor/Aswam

Finish sightseeing before go to Aswam

- Early morning Camel ride to the village of Gourna. Visit the Luxor and Karnak Temples.

- Transfer by a normal train (not first class) to Aswam

- Transfer to a Hotel in Aswam which offers the morning trip to Abu Simbul.


Day 6 (02/03/2006) Aswan/Hurghada

sightseeing in Aswan

- Early morning (3-4 am) Trip to Abu Simbul by bus to see the great temple of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari.

- The High Dam - a modern wonder built to divert the Nile to prevent flooding

- Philae Temple (if time permits)

- Transfer to Hurghada by bus and to hotel


Day 7 (03/03/2006) Hurghada

Red Sea resort with water sports

-Free at leisure in Hurghada with a diving program and water sports.

-Transfer to Cairo by train (a Normal train will be ok)


Day 8 (04/03/2006) Hurghada/Cairo

Last day for sightseeing in Cairo area.

- Sakkara - the Step Pyramid of Zoser and surrounding complex of tombs

- Memphis the ancient capital - statue of Ramses II and Alabaster Sphinx

- Evening Light and Sound show at the Giza Pyramids


Day 9 (05/03/2006) Cairo

Home: Airport transfer

- If possible, some free visit in Cairo before depart for airport
