特尔顿家园(Torten)建于1920年，是典型的现代工薪族住宅区，这些住宅楼以新颖的低举架设计体检了建筑师的用意。代表建筑如其中的包豪斯信息中心总部所在地钢架楼房(Stahlhaus)，还有可以了解到哲学家Moses Mendelssohn生平的Konsumerbaude公司大厦。

可以加入参观的团队，注意时间安排，因为从火车站坐车到此需要一定的时间，下车后还要步行一段距离，所以要注意把控时间。让人想起经济适用房和80年代大陆兴起的大板房。

我觉得，中国的楼房不都是这种风格吗？不知道我的看法对不对？我不是学习建筑的。Torten Estate, a housing project designed by Walter Gropius and built during the years 1926-1928. The project is comprised of 312 terrace houses of several typologies and a single 5 storey tower building. This project was Gropius' first opportunity to execute, demonstrate and test his concept of "home-building-factory" (Haus-bau-fabrik) pronounced already in 1916 and promoting his intention to create a laboratory to develop standardized building types.
